What reviewers are saying:

The Water Cycle is a delightful Children’s Book that teaches young minds about the water cycle in a fun, rhyming way. The story is a creative way to learn all about where the water droplets go. Mayra has taken a science lesson that we sometimes take for granted and breaks it down into easy to remember steps. This fun book is appropriate for children ages 3 to 8. There are a few harder words, but those are in bold and are defined at the end of the book. Mayra’s message in Water Cycle is presented in a clear and fun manner. Each part of the water cycle is not only illustrated in colorful pictures, but each part has a different emotion.

My Thoughts: Have you ever wondered how you would explain to a child how rain happens? In this educational book for children, author Mayra Calvani did just that: explained the water cycle in simplified terms.

This was a great book that described the process of the water cycle. It was told with very creative images that helped illustrate what the information was saying. There weren't any huge words where a young child would not understand. In fact, the "big" words were explained with definitions followed by questions that would help the child think.

What I liked best about this book was it was not written as a boring text. It was more like a story book. It was written in a way to capture a young child's mind and imagination. Though everything was educational, it was very fun to read.

There was also an educator's guide to go along with this book. It gave wonderful ideas on how to do lessons and how to have conversations with the child concerning the water cycle. Activities were also included in this guide to help further the learning of this topic.

Mayra Calvani did another fabulous job. This would be a perfect book for those that do home-schooling or simply want to teach their young children on the water cycle. I rate it:
